Our Legacy

My journey started as a trainer my senior year of high School 1995 over 30 years ago. Training a young dog working with a pro Dave Walker and amateur Larry Brech. I had a beautiful dog Cash a male German shorthair. I started training him and got a few other shorthairs over the next few years. I then got a lab out of a nice breeding and started training her for waterfowl and AKC hunt tests. While I was running a test in Medford Oregon I met Jim Fulks of Coyote Creek Retrievers. Jim had some amazing master dogs, and I asked him if he was looking to hire someone for the summer. I worked for Jim for several summers. We trained dogs at all levels from obedience dog to AKC hunt test dogs. Jim had a gentle approach that made any dog love training and allowed him to get the most out of each dog. I was going to school at BSU and my dogs Page and Annie went everywhere with me. I worked for Mark Henry the summer of 2003 at Big Wood Retrievers. While I was working there the National Amateur was going to be held in McCall Idaho. We had several pros come pre nationals train in the area. I met Pat Burns of Esprit Kennel and worked for him pre national training. Pat invited me to come on a winter trip that fall and work for him in Camden South Carolina. It was a great opportunity to work for one of the best field trial pros in the Country. I worked for Pat Several winter in the south and a summer in Michigan. We had some of the best field trial dogs in the Country. I also had the opportunity to work for Andy Attar at Autum run Retrievers for a winter trip. I had already started taking outside dog for training and in 2009 I went and train IED detection dog for the Marine Corp and trained certified dogs and trained dog teams/ handlers. I had the opportunity to imprint with the ATF and train at Yuma Proving Ground and train at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center outside 29 Palms. Working with some of America's finest.
